Indeed, congrats Will!
Also to Beam, he is only 2 points off from making the finals (he has 22x).
Also this final served to remind us that it is not about what kind of pistol do you have. Two of the guys were using the Walther LP300 Club, including the silver medalist. That's almost like going to the finals with a Drulov in FP!!! Well according to some of you who believe that the most expensive and the most new pistol will give you perfect scores...think about that.
From the photos posted, I can see that the finalists used: Steyr LP 10 (gold), Walther LP300 Club (Silver), Steyr LP10E (Bronze), Steyr LP 10 (4), Walther LP400 Alu (5), Steyr LP 10E (6), Steyr LP 10 (7), Walther LP300 Club (8).
Also very strange, both MSQers, MAI Jiajie and Sergey Chervyakovskiy, have better scores than the entire field (582), in Mai case (25x), more than anyone in the entire field. Although one must say that, since this is Mai, it is not a big surprise.
Ever notice that men tend to use LP10, while women tend to use 162EI. I wonder why..?
