TOZ35 light strike ~

Post by lwy.todd.lu »

Hi guys,
Anyone knows how to fix light strike on a TOZ35? Thanks in advance~
My TOZ35 gives me a lot of light strikes lately. Tried different ammo (SK, RWS, Lapua and Eley) but no luck. It light strikes almost every single shot now. But it fires if I re-cocked it again. It’s the fire pin spring? sear engagement? Or something else?
Cheers

Is there a decent hit on the rim after the light strike? If so, might be a dirty chamber preventing the round from fully seating. A couple good threads on that topic in this forum...

Most likely the hammer spring gone weak, a common problem.
Was the pistol put away cocked at some stage ?
The S&W M14 rebound spring makes a good replacement spring.

You may not be cocking hard enough and the spring does not remain compressed, so you just dry fire and see no impact on the rim.

This is how to dry fire and to store the Toz-35 without a compressed spring:https://youtube.com/shorts/oEhEaTxade0

Sorry guys, the problem is my grip LOL. More specifically the left half of grip. Because I modified the internal of my rink grip a bit as I want more angle on the grip so my wrist can drop a bit more. I’ve just fixed the grip issue and will try it in the morning. Will report back~
