Walther GSP 2 stage trigger shoes

Post by Sa-tevo »

I recently acquired a pre-Expert Walther GSP with a two stage trigger that had two trigger shoes. One was plastic with the mounting strut in the middle of the shoe. The one that was mounted had a curved shoe offset to the mounting stem and likely made from aluminum.

For a right handed shooter, what was Walther's intentions on which way the shoe was flipped? Offset away from the trigger finger, or offset towards the trigger finger. (After testing I am favoring offset away from the finger)

Just thought I would try user experiences where possible before contacting Earl's Repair. (I do like talking with Earl, he is a great resource.)
