Can you tell me if the mec rest is still alloved in air rifle competitions according to the ISSF rules?

OK, I will.
The MEC Rest rests on the upper chest. My understanding is that the rifle may touch the right side of the chest (not the left side for a right handed shooter). So the MEC Rest is legal. It was made to provide the same kind of contact a wooden stock would have that a skeleton metal stock does not.

I defer to Marcus .... he is VERY knowledgeable on the MEC gear.
If it sits on the upper chest I agree.
