Hi everyone, looking to get into 10m and looking for my first pistol

I was originally going to try the V10 but it seems the 46m is better. For the price of the 46m is there anything else I should be looking at? I don’t mind pcp as my first pistol, but I’m my head once I go pcp I’m going to go all in and currently I just want something to start out with. Thanks

Since you're concerned about price, forget PCP. Think used.

If you must have a gas gun, go C02. Used full match gun...1/3...1/4 the price.

I am personally fond of SSPs (your choice IZH46M), using a Walther LPM1. There is
no handicap to them. Despite trying them all, I shot my personal best with a FWB 90.

was doing research and came across the Air Venturi Comp10. Would this be a decent first pistol to use for 10m? I'd probably go hand pump but what I've heard its not to bad for pistols to pump up. I'm having a hard time finding a SSP which wouldve been my first choice

10m pistol shooting, first pistol. To be honest it depends where you want your get to, what's your goal?

If you want to do olympic competition 10m shooting then you need a good gun, very expensive, so make sure you want this goal.

If you want to shoot multiple shots and use replica guns, then it's personal choice, lots of good looking guns, best to buy a cheap second hand gun. Just don't expect to hit the target on first time.

If you just want to try it, the don't buy a gun at all, join a local club and most members will let you try their gun (just don't touch the sights). Try different guns, to see which type of 10m you like and then take it from there.

If you are in the UK, be careful with second hand guns as many airguns sold abroad are illegal, they are semi automatic or too powerful. Self indexing air guns are allowed. That's why second hand from a shop may be better, they should only sell legal air guns, should also be under warranty then hopefully.
