Carl Stiegele, Junior, Break open Pistol

Post by ShadowMax »

A charming pistol has come to me. Looking for information. Made by a premier gunsmith, Carl Stiegele, Jr. 1863-1891. Break open. Seems to be (measured a chamber casting) 8.15x46R.

If it was autographed by "John Wilks Booth" you could sell it for a bundle. Plus, pre-1898 - no FFL required!

Probably won't see this at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
